During storms and heavy rainfall, pollutants are carried from solid surfaces to local lakes and creeks, creating stormwater. This subsequently leads to sewer overflows and land erosion. In collaboration with the City of Seattle, RainWise provides households with the opportunity to control this runoff via rain gardens and cisterns, which also provide other benefits, such as flood prevention, beautiful landscaping, and summer irrigation.

Cool Effect

Cool Effect is a nonprofit working to provide individuals, businesses and universities with triple-verified, financially strong and ethically sound projects to offset their carbon footprint.
